That looks very well made!

I've known others use cobwebs with very favourable reports - so do keep us updated smile.gif

The Cobweb as been up at its working height of 33ft now for three weeks, and unfortunatly conditions have not been brilliant. However I am very pleased with it. While I was tuning it I had it 7ft above the ground on top of the wifes washing line post . I had just finished tuning 17mtrs in when I heard Roger N4ZC at 59. So I went back to him on just 100 watts and he gave me a 57. He was in a qso with Dan in Texas WB5DNT who gave me a 52 and I received him at 54. Since it as been in its permenant position ( see pictures on website. ) I have worked:-

20Mtrs US and Canada ( East Coast ), Surinam, Kuwait, Johannesburgh and many in Europe.

17Mtrs US ( East Coast ), St Helena ( South Atlantic ), Kazakhstan, NW Finland, Ukrane, Greece, Azores and Canary Islands.

10Mtrs Netherlands.

I hope this gives a good idea of the potential of the Cobweb for anybody thinking of getting one.

My cobweb antenna is 33ft above ground and 528ft ASL.

I think it is a wonderful antenna for small locations. Just yesterday I worked Japan over a pile up, second shout with 400watts from my Collins 30L-1 and my ts570dge. About 2 weeks ago I worked The Big Island Hawaii, both at 57.
